There's a handful of other small things that would also be needed, and to be honest I don't know if the team has the time for any one of these, let alone all of them (plus most of the team uses linux on their desktops so would be less inclined to do any of this work). Plugins would also need to be tested against windows, which has significantly more system to system variance than the deck's 3 branches. Then, unless we want an unreasonable number of people constantly asking why X plugin doesn't work, there would need to be a system in place for showing which platforms a plugin works on. MSI (or similar) installer for an actual install process, which would require someone who knows how to do that or has the time to learn how. Partially because supporting windows is a pain in the ass (half joke), but mostly because the team is small and has limited spare time to put into supporting windows. having a search for the mods at the top of the tab and a list below it of the most common mods people use would be so use full just saying it could be cool to have a mod list on the specific game to just look up without Googling it. Its VR games at this point, that would be unknown how that could work (looking into this as I want a button on each of my games to have a mod button as everyone isn't going to put their mods on the workshop as some might not be wanted by the devs scoth scoth gta5 fivem or vrc grrrr anti-cheat oof hate it but if there was a button for that then no need for new people or effort to go looking for mods for games when people/friend are using. their platforms need to help but I could think of one thing that could need it. Still, at the same time i don't think it needs to be the same as the steam deck as most people how to play on PC steam low-end games or mid at least sure people could try and play games like Cyberpunk on a 980ti which would make your PC a bomb lol jkjk but still don't need to force it to do 30fps or use fewer cores or threads as its very different to handheld or console. I'm sure Scrips with Powershell, nircmd or ryzenadj. I'm sure it is viable as you guys say there are daily updates for the UI and other things idk about mods always say to stay on a specific patch as they haven't worked on later updates.
